The week reads by hearings.

Hearings, legal deadlines and appointments gather in one weekly agenda; it syncs with Google Calendar and Outlook, and reminders reach the team by in-app message, email, SMS, WhatsApp and push.

The same agenda sits in the web panel and on the mobile home screen.

The agenda holds three kinds of entry.

The agenda merges three sources from your case files: hearings, legal deadlines and appointments. They share one timeline in separate colours, can be switched on and off by type and narrowed by date range. The list is paginated, so busy weeks do not slow the screen. The question a lawyer’s agenda has to answer, “where do I need to be this week?”, is answered in a single look.

Hearings
Date, time, place and result note come from the case file; the record is kept in case management.
Legal deadlines
Due dates calculated by skipping weekends and Turkish public holidays reach the agenda through legal deadline tracking.
Appointments
Meetings planned with a lawyer, client, subject and type (office, online, phone) sit in the same strip.

The agenda is ordered by time, not by file. Hearings of different cases, the end of a legal deadline and a client meeting line up one under the other within a day, and you open a record to see which file it belongs to. Planning the day does not mean wandering through files, because the information you need sits on the record itself.

The hour ruler of one day

The timeline below shows what the agenda looks like across one working day.

  1. HearingCivil Court of First Instance, 2026/42 E.

  2. AppointmentOffice meeting with Client A

  3. Legal deadlineAppeal deadline expires today

  4. HearingLabour Court, 2026/18 E.

  5. AppointmentIntake call by phone

In the morning the agenda card on the dashboard shows the day’s hearings, and on the way to the courthouse the mobile home screen carries the same list. When a hearing ends in the afternoon you write its outcome into the same record and enter the next hearing date. The agenda becomes a record of the day and not just a plan: nothing is left to rearrange the next morning.

Flow

This is how a hearing lands on the agenda.

You save the hearing once and the agenda does the rest. Below, the 14 October hearing of case 2026/42 E. is followed step by step, from the record to the reminder and the calendar sync.

  1. 01/05

A new hearing is opened in the case file: 2026/42 E., Civil Court of First Instance, Wednesday 14 October 2026 at 10:30. Date, time and place are entered and Save is pressed.

  2. 02/05

The moment it is saved the record sits on Wednesday in the weekly agenda at 10:30, on the same timeline as legal deadlines and appointments.

  3. 03/05

The reminder is tied to the day before, 13 October at 17:00. Channels are chosen on the record: in-app, e-mail and push.

  4. 04/05

If Google Calendar and Outlook are connected, the hearing shows in both calendars; the date, time and place from the HukukBis agenda carry over.

  5. 05/05

On 13 October at 17:00 a “Tomorrow 10:30: hearing” reminder reaches the phone and the inbox; you do not need to open the agenda to prepare.

Sync

Google Calendar and Outlook sync

You set up the calendar connection in settings; hearings, deadlines and appointments in the HukukBis agenda are matched with your Google Calendar or Outlook calendar. They are then in front of you in your personal calendar and in the calendar app on your phone. This connection is listed with the other outside-system connections on the integrations page.

For lawyers who work out of the office and trainees who run between courthouses this means seeing the agenda without opening HukukBis. Appointment and hearing entries then work alongside the reminders of your phone’s own calendar app.

Around the agenda

  1. 01/04

Tasks, work assigned to a person

The agenda carries entries tied to time; the task module carries work tied to a person: you attach a job to a file, assign it to a colleague and follow its status as open, in progress or done. Small jobs such as hearing preparation, completing the evidence list or getting back to a client find their owner this way. The owner and status of a task are tracked apart from the hearing entry, so the agenda stays clean with time-bound entries only. The details of the module are on the tasks and assignment page.

    Reminder channels

Reminders can go out in-app, by email, SMS, WhatsApp and push. The reminder time and channel for a hearing, deadline or appointment are chosen on the entry.

When a hearing is saved, the notification flow attaches to that event; switching a channel off does not touch the entry in the agenda. What each channel suits and how notifications are managed is explained on the notifications page.

  3. 03/04

    Appointment planning and free slots

When you create an appointment you choose the lawyer and the day; the system lists the available time slots and prevents an overlapping appointment from being saved. An appointment consists of the lawyer, an optional client, start and end, subject, type and status. For the client side of these records, see client management.

  4. 04/04

    Dashboard and mobile home screen

The agenda is more than a page. The main card of the web dashboard holds today’s and the coming days’ records, and the home screen of the mobile app shows today’s hearings and deadlines. Open your phone in the courthouse corridor and the first screen you see is the agenda of the day.

Questions

What do people ask about the hearing calendar?

  1. 01/07

Which records appear in the agenda?

Hearings, legal deadlines and appointments. Records can be shown by type, narrowed by date range and are listed in pages. The same agenda is on the web dashboard and the mobile home screen.

  2. 02/07

How does it sync with Google Calendar and Outlook?

You set up the calendar connection in the settings; the hearings, deadlines and appointments in the agenda appear in your Google Calendar or Outlook calendar. The detail of an entry is managed in HukukBis; changing it where the file lives keeps the entry a single source of truth. See the integrations page for the setup.

  3. 03/07

    Are overlapping appointments prevented?

Yes. The appointment screen lists the available time slots for the lawyer and day you choose and does not let an overlapping appointment be saved.

  4. 04/07

    Which channels do reminders use?

In-app, email, SMS, WhatsApp and push. A hearing record publishes an event and the reminder flow is attached to it; details are on the notifications page.

  5. 05/07

How do I record the next date after a hearing?

When the hearing ends you write the outcome note on the same record and add the next hearing as a new record. The new record publishes its own event: the agenda, the dashboard and the search index update and the reminder flow attaches to the new date. You do not rebuild the agenda by hand the next morning.

  6. 06/07

Do tasks show up in the agenda too?

The agenda carries three time-bound records: hearings, legal deadlines and appointments. Work assigned to a person is tracked in a separate module with a status and an owner, so the agenda stays readable even in a heavy hearing week. The details are on the tasks and assignment page.

  7. 07/07

How does the service date affect a legal deadline?

A deadline's end date is calculated from the service date, skipping weekends and Turkish public holidays, and the result lands in the agenda. Judicial recess and service-of-process rules are outside the calculation, so that judgement stays with the lawyer. For the fifth-day rule on electronic notices, see the guide to e-notification tracking.
