Reach your first invoice in seven steps.

You need no server and no installation. You register in the browser, describe your firm, invite your colleagues and open your first case.

Sign-up and onboarding

Fill in the two-part sign-up form and choose your location; the system sets up the rest.

Sign-up first defines your account, then your firm. The location picker validates the country, province, district and neighbourhood chain. When the form is done, your trial subscription starts by itself and you land straight in your workspace.

On first sign-in a four-step wizard greets you: verify your firm, prepare your team, start your first job and you are ready. You can leave the team or the first job for later; the wizard's state is saved, so you carry on where you stopped. Only the company owner completes the wizard. If you get stuck, the in-product knowledge base, the support and help centre and the frequently asked questions page are there for you.

  • Sign up in the browser, nothing to install
  • Trial subscription and session are automatic
  • The mobile app has onboarding screens too

Team invitations and roles

Invite everyone by email; each person sees only what their role requires.

You invite a colleague by email address, and they open their account from the acceptance page. You build the roles to match your firm's structure and assign the detailed permissions you want. Separate roles for partner, lawyer, trainee, assistant and accounting are the most common setup. Larger firms also set up a branch and team structure.

When you remove someone from the team, their open sessions are revoked. The company owner's role cannot be changed through delegated authority. Accounts are protected with two-step verification through MFA. Our roles and permissions guide walks you through the design step by step.

  • Invitation by email and an acceptance page
  • Custom roles, detailed permissions, branch and team structure
  • Two-step verification with MFA

Data import

Upload your Excel or CSV file, map the columns, and your old records come in.

You do not have to retype the client and case lists you have kept for years. You upload the Excel or CSV file, map its columns to HukukBis fields, review the records in a preview and confirm.

After the move you can export your data whenever you like. Your records are backed up automatically, so you own your data both when leaving the old system and in the new one.

Your first client and first case

The intake, the conflict check and the case file are parts of one flow.

When an enquiry arrives, you first run a conflict-of-interest search: past records are scanned by the opposing party's name or ID number, and the result is attached to the file. If it is clear, you turn the enquiry into a client in one click; the individual or corporate type, ID and contact details carry over. The stages of an intake are covered in the client intake guide. The method of the check is covered in the conflict check guide.

Then you open the case: case number, court, province, type, status and responsible lawyer. You attach the client as a party, add your notes and alarms, and assign and follow to-dos as tasks. The case lands on the Kanban board; you define the columns to match your firm's workflow.

  • Intake, conflict check, conversion to client
  • Party roles: claimant, defendant, client, witness, expert
  • Case notes, tasks, alarms and an activity log

Hearings and deadline calendar

Enter the dates once; the agenda, the deadline list and the notifications fill themselves.

A hearing you add lands in the agenda and in search, and you write the outcome note on the same record after the hearing. For legal deadlines you enter the notification date and the deadline type; HukukBis finds the end date taking weekends, public holidays and the judicial recess into account. The logic of notifications is in the e-notification tracking guide, and the UYAP side is in the What is UYAP guide.

The UYAP integration brings case and notification changes into your file and agenda by itself. The calendar syncs with Google Calendar and Outlook. Events such as hearings and payments reach the people concerned as in-app, email, SMS, WhatsApp and push notifications.

Documents, templates and e-signature

Documents enter the file, get scanned, become searchable and go to signature.

You drag and drop a document into the file. Its type, size (25 MB at most) and file name are checked, then a virus scan runs; a document is not stored before the scan completes. You choose a category, write a description, and later search by title and content.

You prepare templates for the petitions and contracts you use often and send them to the client through a sharing link. Every change keeps a version history, and you can go back to an earlier version when needed. A document that needs a signature goes to the e-signature provider and is marked once signed. The details of document security are in the legal document security and e-signature guide.

  • Templates and a sharing link for the client

Invoicing and collection with iyzico

Record time and expenses, issue the invoice, collect through a payment link.

Your hourly time entries (in 15-minute steps) and your case expenses become invoice lines. VAT shows on a separate line, and on a self-employed receipt (e-SMM) withholding tax is added where required. An invoice moves through Draft, Sent, Overdue, Cancelled and Paid; an invoice past its due date turns Overdue on its own. A paid or cancelled invoice is locked.

The client pays through a payment link on the iyzico page (the practical side is in the online collection for law firms guide). Once the payment is verified, the invoice turns Paid and the people concerned are notified. E-invoice and e-archive processes run through the GİB integration.

Questions

What do people ask about getting started?

  1. 01/05

    How long does setup take?

HukukBis runs in the browser, so there is nothing to install. Registration and onboarding take a few minutes, and data import depends on the size of your existing records. You can open your first case the same day.

  2. 02/05

Do I need a credit card?

No. The 7-day trial does not ask for card details. The trial subscription starts automatically with registration, and you choose a plan during or after the trial.

  3. 03/05

What happens to my data when the trial ends?

Your data stays in your account. When you move to a plan you carry on exactly where you stopped. If you prefer to leave, you can export your data first. The general terms of use are in the terms of service, and how personal data is processed is explained in the privacy policy.

  4. 04/05

When should I invite my team?

Set up roles and permissions first, then invite the team, so everyone sees only the screens they are authorised for from their first sign-in. You can skip the team step in onboarding and invite people later.

  5. 05/05

Who do I contact if I get stuck?

Start with the in-product help centre and the frequently asked questions. If that does not settle it, send a support ticket, an email or call us on weekdays between 09:00 and 18:00; the details are on the support page.
