General and setup

01

What is HukukBis?

HukukBis is cloud-based practice management software for lawyers and law firms in Turkey. It runs cases, clients, documents, finance and UYAP workflows on one platform, across 13 modules. From file tracking to invoices and from the agenda to AI drafts, your daily work sits on one screen. See all features.

02

Who is HukukBis for?

There are separate setups for solo lawyers, law firms with teams and in-house legal departments. All three use the same modules with a different mix of roles, plans and integrations: one user is enough for a solo lawyer, roles matter in a firm, and outside-counsel access and API stand out in a corporate department. Compare them on the solutions page.

03

Do I need to install anything?

No. HukukBis is a cloud application that opens in your browser, with no installation, servers or maintenance. You work with the same account on a computer, tablet or phone, and an iOS and Android mobile app puts your files and agenda in your pocket at the courthouse. The steps from sign-up to your first case are on the how it works page.

04

How do I start after signing up?

During sign-up you enter your firm details and location, and the 7-day trial starts automatically. The onboarding wizard guides you through verifying your firm, inviting your team and starting your first task, and the team and first-task steps can be skipped. If you have existing records, you can import them from Excel or CSV.

05

Which languages does the app support?

The app works in Turkish and English. UYAP, KVKK, tax and invoicing concepts follow Turkish practice, so firms with international ties can use the English interface while handling Turkish legal procedure. Your records are unaffected by the language you choose. Read more on the features page.

Trial, pricing and payment

06

How does the free trial work?

Every plan comes with a 7-day free trial and needs no credit card. It starts the moment you sign up and lets you try every module with your own data. If you decide not to continue, there is nothing you need to do, because a subscription never starts by itself. See the pricing page for plan details.

07

What are the plans and prices?

Starter is ₺299, Professional ₺599 and Enterprise ₺999, all per user per month in Turkish lira. Starter covers up to 3 users and Professional up to 10, while Enterprise is unlimited. UYAP and calendar sync come with Professional, while HukukBis AI is a separate package outside the plans. See every feature in the plan comparison table.

08

Is there a discount for annual billing?

Yes, annual billing takes 20% off the list price: Starter ₺239, Professional ₺479, Enterprise ₺799 per user per month. Pricing is still per user, and the discount applies to every user on the subscription. Compare monthly and annual prices with the switch on the pricing page.

09

What are the plan limits?

Limits sit on three axes: users, active cases and storage. Starter includes 3 users, 500 active cases and 5 GB of storage; Professional includes 10 users, unlimited active cases and 25 GB. Enterprise is unlimited on all three. All of them are listed per plan in the limits table.

10

Can I cancel at any time?

Yes, there is no lock-in and you can cancel whenever you like. Cancellation takes effect immediately; you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for, and partial refunds are not given. Before you do, you can take your data out as Excel or CSV with the export tools. Retention and deletion periods are set out in the Terms of Service and the KVKK Privacy Notice. The export steps are on the data migration page.

Security and KVKK

11

Where is my data kept and who operates it?

, which develops HukukBis, operates the application on its own cloud infrastructure, designed for redundancy and low latency. Your data is kept isolated within your own company scope and cannot be seen by another customer. The layers and controls are detailed on the security page.

12

Do you hold security certifications?

HukukBis is developed and operated by , which holds an ISO/IEC 27001 certified information security management system and TSE certified software development and quality management processes. The certificates are held at company level. For the controls we apply, see the security page.

13

Is HukukBis KVKK compliant?

Compliance with Law No. 6698, Turkey's personal data protection law known as KVKK, is run through a data processing inventory and impact assessments. HukukBis offers data export and deletion request tools, and your firm, as data controller, decides the purpose and scope of processing. The KVKK Privacy Notice explains how personal data is handled.

14

Can another firm see my data?

No. Each company's data is isolated from other companies through company-level data isolation. Inside your firm, detailed, role-based permissions apply, so each user sees only the screens their role allows, and a removed user's access closes. Review the roles on the roles and permissions page.

15

Are there two-step verification and backups?

Yes. MFA, or two-step verification, strengthens sign-in, and automatic backups protect your data on a regular schedule. Every uploaded document passes a mandatory virus scan, and sessions are managed securely. All of these controls are summarised, layer by layer, on the security page.

Cases, calendar and deadlines

17

How does Kanban case tracking work?

Cases appear as cards in stage columns. You change status by dragging a card or using the keyboard-friendly Move menu; a closing stage records the closing date and every change goes into the activity log. The team sees the new status on the same board. Explore Kanban case tracking on its page.

18

Which channels deliver hearing and deadline reminders?

Notifications go out through in-app, email, SMS, WhatsApp and push channels. They reach the right people when a hearing is added and when a statutory deadline approaches, and a firm administrator can also send bulk notifications. See which event uses which channel on the notifications page.

19

Can I sync my calendar with Google Calendar or Outlook?

Yes. On the Professional and Enterprise plans your agenda syncs with Google Calendar or Outlook, so hearings and deadlines also show in your phone's calendar and you never match two calendars by hand. All agenda features are described on the calendar and agenda page.

20

How is a conflict-of-interest check done?

When an enquiry comes in, you search by name or identity number; the result is saved together with the user who checked and the time, and stays visible in the history. If there is no conflict, you convert the enquiry to a client in one step. The intake and conflict check page shows the flow step by step.

Documents and AI

21

Which documents can I upload?

Documents upload up to 25 MB, pass type, content and virus checks, and are stored by category under the case. Categories include petition, judgment, expert report, contract, evidence and power of attorney. You can preview, download and search them. The document management page covers every capability.

22

Are there document templates and version history?

Yes. Document templates speed up repeated petitions and contracts, and you can send a client a sharing link. Version history lets you see a document's earlier versions and return to one if needed, so the record of what changed and when stays intact. Details are on the document management page.

23

Can I sign documents with an electronic signature?

Yes. You send the document for e-signature; once signed it is marked as signed and the signature time is recorded. Every document passes a mandatory virus scan on upload, and a malicious file is rejected. Review the security layers, signature and scanning included, on the document security page.

24

What does the AI assistant do?

It drafts petitions from case details, suggests replies to client messages, creates legal analysis records and gives an informational outcome estimate. The AI runs on a local model hosted on MTY Cloud, entirely inside Turkey; no data is transferred abroad and client data is not used to train the model. The AI assistant is used through the HukukBis AI package. Every output goes to the lawyer for review, and the final decision stays with the lawyer. The AI assistant page explains its scope and the disclaimer.

25

Is HukukBis AI included in the plans?

No. HukukBis AI is a separate package: you can add it to Starter, Professional or Enterprise, and it is quoted by monthly request quota. Without it, case, client, document and invoicing modules work in full. See the HukukBis AI package on the pricing page to request a quote.

UYAP and integrations

26

How does the UYAP integration work?

UYAP is Turkey's national e-justice system. The UYAP integration is part of the Professional and Enterprise plans: once you connect with your institutional access, file and notification information is followed alongside your cases in HukukBis, so you copy less by hand between the two systems. See the UYAP integration page for setup.

27

How is e-notification tracked?

E-notification records are kept per case and the delivery date is updated. The date of service feeds straight into the statutory deadline calculation, the resulting end date lands on the agenda and an alert follows as it nears. The flow from notification to deadline is on the UYAP integration page.

28

What can I do with webhooks and the API?

A webhook signs case, hearing and document events with a secret key and delivers them to your https address only, and a test delivery confirms the connection. With the REST API and an API key your own applications can also read your data. Both are part of Enterprise. See the setup on the webhooks and API page.

29

Are e-invoice and e-archive supported?

Yes, the GİB e-invoice and e-archive integration works with the billing module. GİB is Turkey's Revenue Administration. You prepare invoices with line items and VAT and follow Draft, Sent, Overdue and Paid; an invoice past its due date turns Overdue automatically. The whole flow is on the billing page.

30

How do I collect payment from a client online?

You start a payment from the invoice and the client pays on the iyzico payment page. Once the payment is verified through a signed callback, the invoice becomes Paid and you are notified; card details are never held by you. Your collection rate shows on the dashboard. Follow the flow on the online payments page.

Mobile, support and data migration

31

What does the mobile app offer?

The iOS and Android app gives you the case list and detail, Kanban, client cards, search, notifications and the courthouse guide, and push notifications bring hearing and deadline reminders to your phone. The mobile app is for reading and following up; creating and editing happen in the web app. See the mobile app page.

32

When and how is support available?

We provide support by support ticket, email and phone, . Tickets are opened from inside the app, run as a message thread and move between open, answered and closed. Enterprise includes priority support. See the channels and the help centre on the support page.

33

Is there a service level agreement (SLA)?

HukukBis runs with a 99.9% uptime SLA, and planned maintenance is announced in advance. On the Enterprise plan this commitment is given in a written service-level agreement. You can follow live service health and announced maintenance on the system status page.

34

Can I import data from Excel or an old system?

Yes. You import your case, client and document lists from Excel or CSV, so moving from an old system happens in one pass, and you can export your records again afterwards. The preparation steps and column layout are in the guide to moving from Excel to legal software.

35

Is there a help centre inside the product?

Yes, the app has a built-in knowledge base and help centre with step-by-step explanations by topic. If you cannot find what you need, you open a support ticket and get a reply in the message thread. See tickets and the help centre on the support page.

36

How do I request a demo?

Fill in the contact form; we get back to you on a weekday and plan a call of about 30 minutes. In the call we listen to your needs and show the setup on screen, and if you wish your trial account is then opened. Find the form and contact details on the contact page.
